Description:

A small collection from a pastoral station belonging to the Australian Agricultural Company. The record group includes: ledger (1872-1889); shearing reports, (1901-1906); stores and ration accounts (1902-1904, 1906-1909); wool books, 1905 and 1906; scalp book (1915- 1923); and some rough day books (3 vols), undated. There is also an annual and monthly rainfall chart covering the years 1879-1959.

Description:

Series lists of the records of the AA Company (established 1824) and its subsidiary the Peel River Land and Mineral Company (established 1853) held at the Australian National University Archives. They describe a very large collection of records including diaries; correspondence; maps; accounts and stock books relating to the Company's agricultural pastoral and commercial interests on the Liverpool Plains and elsewhere. Two of the lists are prefaced by short histories of the Company.
