Letters written to friends and family by Christiana Brooks at 'Denham Court' 1825-1827 (copied by hand into a letterbook). 'Denham Court was at that time a property near Liverpool owned by her husband Richard Brooks who was a merchant landowner and and prominent settler of NSW in the first quarter of the Nineteenth Century. One of their daughters married Thomas Blomfield (who settled in the Monaro district). Mrs Brooks' letterbook was received from a Mr Blomfield of Quirindi in 1975. It contains approx.
