Papers. Miscellaneous papers, including letters, deposited by Commander G.S. Gordon of 'Argyle' Station (west of Glen Innes). Much of the material pre-dates the establishment of 'Argyle' Station and relates to the Mcdonald, Sutherland and Gordon families and to places other than Australia. One item which does relate to Australia consists of notes made by William Gordon (later a member of the Victorian parliament) for an electoral speech in 1886.
