The Dornan diaries begin with A302 . The first item is the 1892 diary written by Alexander Dornan. In 1917, Alexander Dornan suffered a stroke and his diary was taken over by his son Adin until his death in 1956. Another Dornan family diary continued through the efforts of Donald Mackay Dornan from 1920 to 1957
