Armidale Spinners and Weavers Group (1972 - )

Location: Armidale, New South Wales, Australia

The Hand Spinners and Weavers group was formed in Armidale in April 1972. The group is a branch of the Hand Weaver’ and Spinners Guild of Australia. The primary aims of the organisation are to promote wool and provide an opportunity for group learning of the skills of spinning and weaving. The Spinners and Weavers continue to contribute to the community and exhibit and display their handicrafts yearly at the Armidale Show.
