McRae, Duncan (1837 - 1930)

Born: 5 November 1837  Torcullin, Kintail, Scotland.  Died: 23 December 1930  'Inverinate', Wollomombi, New South Wales.

McRae arrived in Australia on 11 January 1853 on the America with his family. He was a miner and a grazier, selecting land near Wollomombi in 1873, called 'Inverinate'.

He was a Justice of the Peace and an elder of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Armidale, and also of Hillgrove-Wollomombi Church in the Kilcoy Charge. He married Ann McLennan on 14 June, 1861.
