Murray-Prior Family

Archival Resources

The head of this local family dynasty was Thomas Lodge Murray-Prior, who arrived in Sydney from England in 1839. He settled in the New England region as a station-owner and senior public servant - he served as Postmaster-General. Married twice, he was survived by fourteen of the nineteen children he fathered.
