Jervis Bay Protection Committee (1981 - )

Location: Nowra, New South Wales

Formed in 1981 and based at Nowra, the committee campangained to protect Jervis Bay and its environs. In 1988 the committee became concerned at plans by the Royal Australian Navy to relocate the fleet to Jervis Bay. The committee sought the assistance of the Canberra Branch of the Australian Conservation Foundation.
