Description:

Two letters from Florence M Irby to Archdeacon Stammer of Armidale written at 'Narrango' Station Casino. One letter dated 5 July 1945 and the other 19 August 1945(?). Letters are in answer to his enquiry about church history in Tenterfield. (The August letter contains information about the private cemetery weddings etc at 'Bolivia' based on Irby family papers in her possession. Enclosed with it are handwritten copies of articles from the 'Tenterfield Star' 21 October 1910 and 28 November 1921). Another letter addressed to Archdeacon Stammer is from Edith Irby dated 21 October 1945 thanking him for sending her newspaper clippings of extracts from her diary. Also in this accession an auctioneer's brochure advertising the sale of subdivided land on 'Bolivia' Station near Tenterfield held on 13 December 1913 (includes map). 3 letters. 1 auctioneers' brochure
