Short biographical notes on the Cameron family who were early settlers in the New England area compiled by Alan Cameron. His great grandfather who was also named Alan emigrated to Australia with his parents John and Ellen in 1849. From the 1870s until the early 1900s he was employed as a stockman and later a storekeeper in the Ollera district. Included in this accession is a copy of a photograph taken of him in about 1886.
