Description:

The papers diaries and photographs of Dennis Curran dating between c. 1889 and 1916. Included among the papers are two correspondences to Dennis Curran sent in 1889 and 1890. The extensive collection of photographs contains pictures of both Hillgrove and Dorrigo. The Hillgrove photographs include several members of the Frew family who were related to the Currans by marriage. Dennis Curran was at various times employed at the Bakers Creek and Eleanora Mines. He later owned a hairdresser and tobacconist shop in Hillgrove c1907.
