A typescript copy of the result of a fireside yarn between J.H. Fairbairn and Captain Murray Fairbairn of the British Army. The story, entitled 'The History of the Fairbairn Clans, Three Branches, Old Timers and Reminiscences of Old Times,' was told at Coombah station, Moree, on the night of 7 September 1953.
