Verses written by Commissioner G.J. MacDonnell. Microfilm of an album loaned for copying by Mr. L.R.H. Elliott of 'Greenwells', Walcha. George J. MacDonnell was the first Commissioner of Crown Lands on the northern tablelands. He established his headquarters at Armidale in 1839.
