Description:

The records fall into three parts: (i) records including letterbooks, diaries and correspondence received by Donald Macleod Cameron as overseer, manager and finally studmaster of 'Welltown', Goondiwindi, Queensland. (See also A100). (ii) records of the Reverend. Duncan M. Sinclair (1809-1899), sometime vicar of Uralla and later a settler and police magistrate at Dalby, Qld., Including a pocket-book relating to land matters at Dalby in the 1860s. (iii) records of 'Kalanga' (formerly 'Bellvue', this property was selected from 'Waterloo' at the same time as 'Balaclava' - which it adjoins). The 'Kalanga' records include an account book (c.1905), a photo of the homestead and a diary of Christina Cameron (wife of the Reverend. Archibald Cameron), written at 'Kalanga'.
