The records fall into three parts: (i) records including letterbooks, diaries and correspondence received by Donald Macleod Cameron as overseer, manager and finally studmaster of 'Welltown', Goondiwindi, Queensland. Sinclair (1809-1899), sometime vicar of Uralla and later a settler and police magistrate at Dalby, Qld., Including a pocket-book relating to land matters at Dalby in the 1860s. (iii) records of 'Kalanga' (formerly 'Bellvue', this property was selected from 'Waterloo' at the same time as 'Balaclava' - which it adjoins). The 'Kalanga' records include an account book (c.1905), a photo of the homestead and a diary of Christina Cameron (wife of the Reverend. Archibald Cameron), written at 'Kalanga'.
