Most of this material is made up of the minute books of the meetings of the Armidale branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows Loyal Lodge between 1868 and 1968. The other records of the Lodge also contained in this material include everything from the Attendance rolls dating from 1895 to 1951 to the Officers' and Deputies' expense sheets for 1910 to 1959. Other minute books for the New England District Loyal Lodge annual general meetings, from 1909 to 1936, and the Loyal Deepwater Junior Lodge, from 1948 to 1954, are also a part of this collection. A minimal amount of business correspondence from 1959 as well as an insurance policy on Lodge regalia, which expired in 1965, can also be found in this material.
