Writings on the history of the station including an M.A. Thesis by A.V. Crane entitled 'Ollera, 1838-1900: A Study of A Sheep Station' , an address by L.A. Gilbert entitled 'An Address to Mark the Centenary of the Laying of The Foundation Stone of St Bartholomew's Church, Ollera' and Australian Heritage Commission Reports on Ollera.

Description:

A large collection of station records relating to 'Ollera' and 'Tenterden' (owned by the Everetts) and 'Stratton' (owned by the Mackenzies); as well as records relating to the Everett, Mackenzie and Clerk families (connected through inter-marriage). Diaries and notebooks with personal and business details of Everett and Mackenzie family members cover 1836-1848, 1862-1906, and journals kept by E.A. Hill (valet-companion to Mr. Edwin Everett) on sea voyages to and from England, cover 1861, 1880-1881. Further records include Everett family correspondence, 1833-1867 and business letters, 1874-1908, 1922; genealogical notes re Everetts, c.1968 and Clerks (of 'Clerkness', Bundarra) c.1882; miscellaneous papers including newspaper clippings, wills and copies of sketches and official reports; station and production Accounts, 1841-1909, 1916-1917, 1922-1924; stock records including a Stud Book (cattle) 1843-1853, and Sheep Returns, 1839-1949, 1857-1901. (Note: some of the literary records pre-date the establishment of 'Ollera' Station.)
