Description:

Nicolas Baudin/Baudin papers. The miscellaneous drawings, reports and observations of the expedition, sponsored by the Institut de France, to complete the cartography of New Holland. This material describes not only New Holland but also the surrounding islands and even locations passed on the voyage from France. Included among this material are statistical reports about the state of New South Wales and notes on Port Jackson where the members of the expedition spent the months of June to November, 1802.
