The Hay Athenĉum (1875 - 1949) |

The inaugural meeting of the Hay Athenĉum Committee took place on 25 November 1875. In 1888, the Committee took possession of the Hay Court House to house its facilities. The Athenĉum's library was transferred to the custody of the Hay Municipal Library in 1947. Two years later the Hay Athenĉum ceased functioning.
