Brewers. Established in 1835, Tooth and Co was incorporated in New South Wales in 1888. The company acquired the Mittagong Maltings (1905); Castlemaine Brewery & Wood Brothers (1920); Resch's Ltd (1929); Wright, Heaton & Co and Penfolds Wines Ltd (1977). In Wagga Wagga the company purchased Mahon and Headley in 1922. The company was acquired by Carlton and United Breweries Ltd (Elders IXL Ltd) in 1983. |
