Anglican Diocese of Newcastle (1847 - )

The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle was officially founded by Royal Letters Patent in 1847. Before 1860 the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle covered a territory encompassing the whole of Northern NSW and Queensland.
