The Armidale Bowling Club held its first meeting on 30 September 1914. It was organised to provide a social and sporting base for the people of Armidale and surrounding areas. At a special meeting in December 1914, a recommendation was adopted to buy an acre of land in Dumaresq Street. The Club has been situated on that site ever since. |
