Farmborough Heights Progress Association (1959 - )

In March 1953, the Farmborough Amenities Committee was formed to represent the residents of the developing suburb of Farmborough. On 26 October 1959, the Farmborough Heights Progress Association was formed out of the Unanderra and District Progress Association and the Farmborough Amenities Committee. The Association has been involved in agitating for improvements in the provision of water, electricity, sanitary and public transport services in the Farmborough-Unanderra district.
