Proprietor and principal of Wagga Wagga Commercial College (1931-1939), trainee nurse in United Kingdom, secretary in British Council, served in the American Women's Army Corp (1943-1945), ABC radio broadcaster (1955-1967) in Wagga Wagga, lecturer in Australian and English literarure University of New South Wales, established the Alternative Publishing Co-operative Ltd and director of alternative living community near Port Macquarie.
