The main functions of a branch of the Australian Labor Party are to select candidates who will stand for political office as representatives of the Labor party; and to elect delegates to other bodies which consider decisions on party policy and administration that the branches within their area have made. The Bulli-Woonona Branch is affiliated with the Hughes Federal Electorate Council and the Heathcote State Electorate Council. Until 19 September 1939, there were separate branches at Bulli and Woonona. |
