Body, Edmund Cuthbert (1843 - 1935)

Born: 1843  Devonshire, England.  Died: 24 May 1935  Inverell, New South Wales, Australia.

Born in Devonshire England in 1843, Edmund Cuthbert Body came to Australia with his father (F. E. Body) in 1850. He married Catherine Campbell of Inverell in 1880 and subsequently took up 'Jindabyne' station near Mt. Kosciusko. After twenty years he sold 'Jindabyne' and in partnership with his sons owned 'Strathbogie' 'Ulupna' and 'Mole Vale' in the New England region.
