Born: 1782  Holborn Hill, England.  Died: 10 March 1859  Wooloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia.

The first member of the Oglivie Family to emmigrant to Australia as a free settler on the convict ship 'Grenada' in 1824.

His son was Edward David Stewart Ogilivie.


Career Highlights
Taking up his late brother's land grant, William selected 2000 acres of at the confluence of the Goulburn and Hunter Rivers and called the property 'Merton'
